The French Fry Ferret is one of the five pets in Grow a Garden that can be hatched from the Gourmet Egg.
Both the French Fry Ferret and the Gourmet Egg were released as part of the Trading update. And while you may be on a quest to collect all of the pets, the Ferret is able to increase another pet’s level by one periodically, making them a great addition to your farm.

How to get the French Fry Ferret
To get the French Fry Ferret, you’ll need to get hold of a Gourmet Egg. The odds are about as low as they can get, with just a 1% chance of hatching a French Fry Ferret.
To acquire this egg, you’ll need to participate in the Cooking event, baking and combining different ingredients to make various food for Chris P. Bacon. There are a few different cooking recipes, and the higher rarity a particular food item is, the more likely it is you’ll get one of the rarer rewards back – which includes the Gourmet egg.

You’ll want to make sure you’re giving Chris P. Bacon the particular food he’s asking for to have the best chance at acquiring one of these eggs.
French Fry Ferret traits
The French Fry Ferret’s unique trait is called Friendly Frier, and it allows the Ferret to increase another pet’s level by 1 every 20 to 60 and a half minutes. This means that – by rights – almost at least once an hour, all of your other pets in your garden will receive enhanced abilities continuously as they climb the ranks, making them more efficient at their own duties.
Making it even more unique, this ability cannot be mimicked by another pet either, so having a Ferret in your garden will prove to make it rather unique. Though it also appears like it can’t be affected by the cooldown benefits of other pets.
