Looks like kama toro from the collar bone is the best bit of the fish, or it could just be an excellent piece of O-toro either way fantastic find

    >subway tuna

Even in Japan that’s just living on the edge lol. Still though, looks really good. I just hope it was kept well before serving.

  5. Best fish I ever had in my life was in Osaka. I still cry about it sometimes hahaha

I hate you. Now I’m just going back to my sad corner of NE Wisconsin USA

You all drool over raw fish but gag at the thought of eating other raw meats and act like its a death sentence. Freezing doesnt really kill bacteria either. Do you know they also eat raw chicken, raw eggs and other raw meat in Japan?

Someone please educate me, but this sushi looks slimy and gross to me. Am I misunderstanding the texture from the picture? I love sushi, but I’m incredibly novice at true sushi knowledge.

As an American I could never even comprehend the concept of subway sushi. Nothing could be more dangerous than an American subway station serving raw fish.

It looks very delicious and very expensive at the same time.

This showed up on my feed and I’m an avid sushi fan but by no means an expert.

I initially thought this post was about how bad it looked but based in comments, i was wrong. Is there a reason it looks so slimy?

I don’t even like raw fish and that looks amazing

Literally better than 99.9% of sushi restaurants in the USA
