Worth noting is that at lunchtime most restaurants will offer a well-priced ‘Plat du Jour’ (dish of the day), normally consisting of locally-sourced meat, potatoes and a salad or seasonal vegetables.

Cafes and bakeries

Don’t bother hunting for a full English in Les Arcs, they’re few and far between. Instead, dive into the French vibe with a café visit or grab fresh croissants and pain au chocolat. In Les Arcs 1800, plenty of cafés on the ‘front de neige’ serve up delicious sweet and savoury crêpes, whilst Les Arcs 1950 also has a couple of good breakfast spots.
