So, if you’re tired of that classic banana bread, this is the perfect switch up. It is packed with so much flavor from the cinnamon sugar filling. Plus, it has that delicious cream cheese frosting that we all love. So, go ahead, grab your ripe bananas and let’s make this recipe. You’re going to start by adding your ripe bananas to a bowl and mashing those until they are smooth. Then, add in your sugar and your Greek yogurt. Once that is all combined, add in your eggs and your vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Lastly, add in your dry ingredients, mix and transfer it to a lined 8×8 baking dish. Make your cinnamon sugar mixture, which is just melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon, and swirl that all over your cake. Place this in the oven to bake. And while it’s baking, make your cream cheese icing. Once your cake has completely cooked and cooled, add a beautiful icing swirl across the top, and it is ready to be enjoyed. Cinnamon swirl banana cake
The perfect way to use those ripe bananas you have sitting around!! This recipe uses no butter or oil in the cake mix and instead uses Greek yogurt, so it’s a little healthier but just as delicious!

-3 ripe bananas
-1/2 cup greek yogurt
-1/2 cup sugar
-2 eggs
-1 1/2 cup flour
-1 tsp baking soda
-1 tsp cinnamon
-1/2 tsp salt
Cinnamon swirl
-3 tbsp melted butter
-3 tbsp brown sugar
-3 tbsp cane sugar
-1 tsp cinnamon
Icing
-4 tbsp cream cheese
-4 tbsp room temp butter
-1 cup powdered sugar
-1 tsp vanilla
-1/2 tsp cinnamon
How to:
Preheat your oven to 350F.
In a bowl mash your bananas then add in your yogurt and sugar. Mix to combine then add in your eggs.
In a separate bowl add all your dry ingredients and mix. Add your dry to your wet and fold to combine.
Add batter to a lined 8×8 baking dish and top with your cinnamon swirl.
Bake for 40-42 minutes. Once your cake is cooked and cooled top with icing and enjoy!
Icing
Mix your room temp butter and cream cheese then add your powdered sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Mix until all is combined. Transfer to an icing bag and swirl onto your cake!
