Welcome to another episode of your favorite channel, Hyped by Allison. Guys, we have a fun video today and we’re going to talk about my life and how I am getting back into fitness. One thing that I’m focusing a lot on is making sure I’m getting enough protein because it’s super important for healing, but also I’m starting to gain my muscle back. Having been bed bound for 2 and 1/2 years, you can imagine how much atrophy that would cause. And so I have been increasing my protein, but I’ve also been coming up with super fun recipes. Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel. Give me a big thumbs up. The recipe is going to be apple pie protein pancakes. Let’s get going. We’re going to start with cutting the apple into tiny little pieces. We’re going to go about that size. Okay, as you can see, we’ve got all the apples nice and chopped up. So, I have an overly ripe banana. Gonna mash, mash it, mash it. I like to mash it as much as possible. There’s our mashed banana. It’s protein time. Time to add my favorite protein powder. One scoop since it’s only one serving. There’s our batter. So, I am going to see that pan over there. We’re going to dump the apples. We’re going to add a big chunk of butter. And I like a lot of cinnamon. So, let’s go. [Music] Now it’s time to start the pancakes. [Music] Okay, while all of this is cooking, we’re going to pit some dates. [Music] We’re going to boil a little bit of water because we are going to soak the dates to like soften them up. So, we’re going to go ahead and boil now. [Music] Okay, I have my protein pancakes and now I’m going to add some fun things. And of course, we have to make our date caramel syrup. We got our fresh cooked apples. Going to top it with yum. Okay, now that we have this ready, we got to make our date syrup. We’re going to do just a little bit of almond milk. I don’t really measure. Just kind of guess here cuz you don’t want it too watery. You want it to be a little thick. [Music] How amazing does this look? That is so good. So healthy. I’m going to end this video so I can gobble this up.
