Hey. Hey, Napi. What are you making today? I’m making a lasagna. Lasagna. Homemade. Homemade. What do you got here in the pot? Make all the little meatballs. See? Yeah. Besides, put it up top of it like that. I make a meatball. All right. Mama was doing that in my way. Well, freshing away. Just like mama. That’s a lot of meatballs. No. No. That’s like over a 100 meatballs. You got one? 200. Nah. Olive oil. Yeah. A little. All right. Not too much. All right. Now, we got to wait. Time to make the fresh pasta. It’s different than homemade, you know. Oh, it’s the best. You can’t beat homemade pasta, especially from you, Na. It’s better. You’re going to put the whole dozen, man. At least 12. There they go. Now, I use my hands. You’re going to use your hands? Yeah. Of course. Made with lovely. A lot of work in those hands. Oh, how much work I did for 88 years now. You know how much flour to put? How do you know how much to put? When they hard enough, I stop. Okay. You’re still strong enough to make the fresh pasta, right? Nice. It looks good already. Wow. Look at that. Finish, Nana. Yeah. There goes the second batch. The dough is almost ready. Yeah. Oh, you’re strong. You move the whole table. Na. The meatballs are done. They go right in the Na sauce. Yeah. Let it boil 5 minutes and that’s it. Look. M. This is hard. This is the hard part. You got to roll it out now. I’m nice and flat. I don’t have a chance to do too much with grandfather cuz he he left me so early. But my brother is always kind of hot. Your husband like to cook too or no? No. But does he like to eat? Yeah. Oh yeah. He liked your food, I bet. All done. Hold the next show you got the Italian knife now. Italian one cuts better for the pasta. Now we make it into the lasagna. Right. Let’s see. There’s the first pass. Now we’re going to do number six. Make it even longer. Right. Yeah. All right. Perfect. We got our pieces now. I’m going to put the water on and we’ll throw them in. No. No. The water’s boiling. Yes. The pasta’s all made and then one minute I take it off. Billy Simo, I got a bowl. That’s it. It’s already done. How do you know? All finished.

  3. Just like my nonna 👵🏼 I miss her 🥹 Bravissima, nonna Pia! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

  4. That microscopic meatball rolling was job when my dad made his homemade meat lasagna. He was serious about that size. Lol He passed away in 2012 so those days of me rolling a million meatballs is over, but it is nice to see Nonna Pia still getting down.

    Bless her heart!

  5. You need to help Nonna in pressing the dough. It is so tiring. Please don't let your 88 years old work so hard. She gets tired.
