2 quick questions – a crack like this would almost certainly qualify for warranty, right? (I know it’s usable – but it’s spreading with every use)
Second question – I received my egg as a gift – my wife purchased it at an authorized dealer and opted for delivery and assembly to surprise me. I can home one day and it was on the deck. No boxes, no paperwork, just the grill and accessories – so I never knew they need to be registered.
If I have the bill of sale (luckily I do) from the AD will I have issues with a warranty claim?
Normally I’m great with warranty registrations when required – I just never knew this was the case with BGEs.

I’d register it first, they’ll ask you to upload the receipt. Then you should be able to file a claim. But you can also go back to the dealer and they can file a claim for you.
Okay – I didn’t know I could register after the fact. We’ve owned it for a number of years. I hope the fact I have already filed a claim won’t complicate things. I did upload the bill of sale – I sort of just assumed my dealer did the registration for us.
