Just finished my kitchen remodle. Counter real estate is extra valuable in a small space. After moving my machine around I still wasn’t happy. So I came up with idea. Pretty happy with how it turned out, even though I had to hack the top of the water tank to make it work.

That’s pretty cool but are you not concerned about :

    1) ~~Foreign objects~~ Shit falling into the water tank?

    2) Machine, grinder, or both falling off the drawer?

    That’s boring???

    That’s awesome!!

Lol, wtf. Most sane idea I’ve ever seen here. Beautiful cuts on the water tank. 10/10

So clever! But I know me: that grinder likely would slip off, at some point . . . . 😉

I am very jealous of this setup. I don’t have a ton of counter space in my kitchen, and hate clutter. I’d love to be able to hide away either my espresso machine or the Kitchenaid like this. Unfortunately, there isn’t a single cabinet space in my kitchen that would work for this.

  6. You have plenty of counter space. This just seems unnecessary.

Nice setup, but for me this is way to low. My back is going to hurt if I have to work with this. You seem to have enough space on your counter…..

Love it. Not sure about that water tank “hack” though. I have to say, it looks a lot more solid than I would expect.

I like those swingout mixer cabinets.

Seems a bit wobbly, no? At least you’d be forced to move a bit more careful to not tip them over.

Next upgrade would be to fix the feet of the appliance so it wont wobble

thats pretty awesome. may not be the most practical thing in the world. but it’s still something special and keeps the surfaces clean for sure

The idea itself is really cool but admiring my setup is part of the experience for me and I wouldn’t want it to be taken away from me!
I wouldn’t mind hiding all the other kitchen appliances like this.

How did you wire them in? I would plug them in anywhere permanently, and add a switch which only activates their wires when either the lower cabinet is open or the lift is in the up position.
Plugged in devices in closed cabinets is a big no-no.
But plugging them in every time would annoy me to no end.

    Awesome otherwise!
