Peppers turn purple as a way to protect themselves from the sun – the same purple that makes purple maple trees purple (hence why they’re purple on top where the sun hits, and dark green underneath). Just nature’s sunscreen!
I don’t think those are bananas though, at least they’re a lot shorter/fatter/stubbier than the bananas I’ve grown. My bananas always grow to a pointy tip, and are long, thin, and curved
