Back to sezanne after 2 years, again for summer season and sadly my favorite dish from last time wasn’t there anymore(the jellyfish tonato). I must say that I was debating to return or not as last time I was there I wasn’t really happy with the overall flavors, but since they got their 3* i decided to give them a try. I went in knowing that it’s a French restaurant in Tokyo,(since many people in my last post commented that chef Calvert is just a white guy cooking French food in Japan and I found this comments almost disgusting). I must say that this time I loved my meal, might also be the fact that this time I went in the middle of the summer when everything is in pick, as last time I went in September which was the end of their summer menu. All the food was spot on even though I am usually not a fan of classic dining spots, this on hit right home. All the details from the cristofle silverware to their tea selection was amazing. I might return soon for their autumn or winter menu. The only thing I would change is the fact that service has become a bit sterile, there is minimal interaction with guests and that downgrades a bit the experience

  1. I went in May and based on your photos we had either the same or similar menus. That said I enjoyed this menu much more than the one I had last November. The star of that menu was the suppon.
