PORT JERVIS, NY — Billed as the “biggest little city in the Hudson Valley,” Port Jervis will hold the Bella Notte Italiana/Italian Festival on Saturday, August 9 at Orange SquarePark from noon to 9 p.m.
Port Jervis Tourism, which is sponsoring the event, is celebrating its 5th year.
Headline entertainment includes Sal “The Voice” Valentinetti, Golden Buzzer winner of “America’s Got Talent.” Also returning for 2025, Christian Guardino—a semi-finalist on “American Idol” Season 12 and a Golden Buzzer winner of “America’s Got Talent”—will also perform. So will Vittorio Di Carlo, known as “The Graceful Tenor.”
It’s a chance to “experience the rich culture of Italy and dance the traditional Tarantella, performed by Anna’s Italian Folk Dancers,” organizers said.
A meatball-eating contest will be held.
Visitors will find Italian cuisine, from Mount Carmel Society’s sausage and pepper heroes to freshly baked specialty desserts.
Vendors, wineries, breweries, cocktail-makers and more will also be at the festival.
Maria Mann is the Queen of the Feast for 2025.
Festival organizers remind visitors to bring a chair.
Admission and parking are free of charge.
The park is located at 1 North Broome St.
