This ONE Mistake RUINS the Cooking Event.. (Grow a Garden)

If your first move this update was making soup, yeah, this video is for you. Crispy the Pig is here and trading is unlocked, and there’s literally way more going on than people realize. Most people are already making massive mistakes that’ll cost them billions of shekels, but if you stick around, I’ll show you exactly how to avoid them. I’ll also be covering every single thing from this cooking update. Before we dive deep, our last giveaway winners are going to be pinned in the comments. Congratulations to those who won. three corrupted kitsune in a regular kitsune found their new homes. And since we’re climbing fast towards 100k subscribers, and you guys have absolutely been crushing it in the comments, we’re going to do it again. This time, I’m giving away a French fry ferret and a butterfly to two of my lucky viewers. To enter, all you literally have to do is hit the like button, make sure you’re subscribed, and comment down below your Roblox username and your favorite part of this new update. I’ll be announcing the winner in my next video, and as always, I read all of your comments. All right, here’s what most people get completely wrong. They see cooking update, skim the patch notes, and think it’s just a fun miniame. Wrong. The cooking and trading update that dropped today is actually reshaping the entire meta while everyone’s randomly tossing carrots into a pot and wondering why they’re only getting 500 shekels. The smart people are already building strategies around the reward tiers, the craving system, and the new pet abilities that literally break the game. Let me break down what actually matters and what you should be focusing on to maximize everything. Every single hour on the hour, Mr. Krispy, the pig NPC, literally here in the middle of your map, is going to have this cooking pot. Most people think you just throw random crops in and hope for the best. And that’s completely wrong. The system actually tracks the type of crop type combinations that you put in, meaning specific ingredients equal specific dishes. It also depends on the crop size. If you put bigger ingredients in, that means you get larger dishes, meaning better rewards. It also has visual hints like the pot water changing color based on your recipe. For example, if I toss in a single carrot, I’m going to get soup. If I mix two tomatoes and a corn, that’s a sandwich. A pumpkin and a watermelon, you’re looking at a waffle. This system is consistent. Once you learn the patterns, you can cook exactly what you want. And guys, another part I wanted to mention is crispies cravings. That is the real meta. This part blew my mind when I figured it out. So, Chris P has cravings that change every single hour. And matching his cravings doesn’t just give you a slight bonus, it can completely override the normal reward odds. I’ve seen a basic burger, which is normally mid-tier rewards. That burger suddenly dropped a gourmet egg and a mutation spray because it was exactly what Krispy the pig wanted. Meanwhile, someone else makes a perfect cake, but gets corn seeds because they ignored his craving. Before you even start cooking, always check that pig’s speech bubble. If he’s asking for cake and you give him soup, don’t be shocked if you get trash rewards. Here’s another thing that most guides do not tell you. You can cook multiple dishes during each event window, but you can only claim the ones you made. No one can steal your dishes, and once the timer ends, everything resets until the next hour. This means if you’re prepared with the right ingredients, you can potentially cook up three to four dishes per event. But I’ll tell you this, you got to plan ahead because some recipes take up to 20 minutes or even 30 minutes to cook. So now, let me just walk you through how cooking actually works. Stop wasting your best crops. Step one, the first step, being ready for the event before it even starts. Make sure you stock your inventory with various crop types and check what Krispy the pig was craving the last hour. I believe that these patterns exist. Next step, the event starts. So now once the event starts, Krispy is going to be in the middle of the map right here with his cooking pot. His speech bubble like you see right here will show you what he’s craving. And at the moment, he’s craving some sushi. Then you’re going to go up to this pot and try to make whatever crispy the pig wants. Different recipes require different types of crops, and we’ll be going over that later on in this video. Another thing I also wanted to mention is that the pot’s water color changes every time you put a plant in. that determines what type of recipe you’re on the road to cooking up. Then once the timer hits zero, you’re just going to claim whatever you cooked and give it to Crispy the Pig for the rewards. Now, I’m just going to go over every single cooking recipe that exists. You can also find this info on the Grow a Garden wiki. If you want to make a salad, there’s different combinations. You could do two tomatoes. If you want a mythical, you could do a tomato and a giant pine cone. And if you want a divine version of a salad, you could do three sugar apples, a pepper, and a pineapple. The water will turn red if you’re on the right path to making the salad. If you want to make a sandwich, there’s only one way. The water will turn orange. The only thing you’re going to need is two tomatoes and one corn. If you’re going to want to make a pie, that’s going to take a lot more ingredients. And I’ll just leave a photo of the ingredients you guys need on the screen. There’s so many recipes for everything that I’ll just leave every single recipe on the screen for you guys to read. So, you can just pause it and continue this video once you got the specific recipe that you need. Now, let’s go over the tiers of the different meals. There’s quick meals, mid-tier meals, and you got the high tier meals. The quick meals usually take 5 to 6 minutes to cook. So, it’s going to be the soups, the salads, the ice creams. The time to use these quick meals is if you’re just trying to clear your inventory, you’re just warming up, or when you’re short on time. Do not expect any miracles from these short meals. Now, where it gets better are the mid-tier meals. These take about 6 to9 minutes to cook. And some examples of a mid-tier meal would be like a sandwich, a burger, a pie, a waffle. These are going to be the breadand butter meals that you’re going to use if you do not know Krispy’s craving yet. These can take 9 to 56 minutes to actually cook. According to the Grow a Garden wiki, some of the high tier meals I’m talking about are the donut, the pizza, and the cake. You can use these high tier meals when Krispy is craving them specifically and when you have premium ingredients to use. This is what’s going to get you the absolute best rewards. This is why most people feel like the rewards are random. They’re not watching the cravings. So, let’s break down how the reward system actually works, what type of loot you can get, and how to guarantee that you’re actually cooking for the best loot. Speaking of guaranteed loot, shout out to Bloxoom for sponsoring this video. While you’re grinding the cooking event for a chance at rare pets and items, Bloxoom gives you instant access to any pet or item that you want. The boys over at Blox Boom gave me my own code mod for 10% off any purchase. Use it while it still lasts. link is in the description. Let’s go over the science of these new rewards and why they’re not random. Most people think the cooking rewards are completely RNG. They cook a waffle and get 500 shekels. They make a donut and they get corn seeds. They throw in a pizza and they get a fence. It feels random, but there’s actually a science to it. Every dish lands in a specific reward tier, and that tier determines your loot. Let’s go over these reward tiers. Let’s start with the lowest of the low. When you give Krispy the Pig simple meals, things like soups, salads, and other basic dishes, you’re basically only giving yourself a chance for the basic filler pool. What I’m talking about is a 75% chance at 500 shekels, the 30% chance for corn seeds, another 30% chance for the reclaimer tool, a 25% chance for watering cans or a fence, a 10% chance for a random toy, and a 5% chance for a basic cosmetic. This loot pool is designed to keep you cooking, but not to reward you heavily. Like guys, it’s totally fine if you’re doing it to clear your crops, but do not expect game-changing loot. Now, if you want to talk about the mid-tier pool, this is where things get interesting. The mid-tier pool I’m talking about is when you give Krispy the pig sandwiches, pies, burgers, and waffles. Those type of things. If you’re asking me what are the odds of the mid-tier reward pool, let me tell you. You have a 30% chance of getting a food crate, a 20% chance of getting the gourmet seed pack, 15% chance to get the artichoke seed and the advanced sprinkler, a 10% chance to get a burnt or honey glazed mutation spray, an 8% chance to get a pancake stack cosmetic or a double seed pack, and a 4% chance to get the gourmet egg. But who wants the mid stuff, right? So, let me talk to you about the top tier reward pool. This is the insane jackpot pool that most people never see. It rewards you with a 10% chance at the gourmet egg. It gives you a 4% chance for the taco fern seed, the double food crate, and the fried mutation spray. And it’s literally the only thing that you can get the fried pet mutation shard. This reward pool only opens if you feed Krispy the pig what he’s craving. And you had to make sure that meal was high quality. But here’s some secret sauce. Crispy the pig’s craving acts like a multiplier. If you give him a mid-tier meal, but it matches his craving, it can suddenly access the top tier reward pool. It also works for the low tier. If you give him a low tier item and he’s craving it, it jumps to the mid-tier reward pool. This is exactly why you see random people getting gourmet eggs on simple dishes. It wasn’t random. It just matched his craving. All right, now let’s talk about these gourmet seeds. If you haven’t opened a gourmet seed pack yet, you’re missing out on some of the most valuable crops in the game. Here’s exactly what you can pull in their profit potential. you have a 40% chance of pulling an onion. Now, the onion is only a one-time harvest and it’s only 27,000 shekels per plant. For the jalapeno, you have a 25% chance of getting it and it’s multih harvest. It averages about 35,000 shekels for every cycle you harvest. Then you got the crown melon, 20% chance, 47,000 shekels per cycle. But now, let’s get into the rare pulls. I’m talking about the sugar glaze and tall asparagus. The sugar glaze has a 10% chance of pulling. As for the tall asparagus, it’s only a 4.5% chance. The sugar glaze gives you 56,000 shekels per harvest, while the tall asparagus gives you about 75,000 shekels per harvest. And finally, let’s talk about the ultra rare jackpot seeds that you can get. I’m talking about the grand tomato, the artichoke, and the taco fern. The grand tomato has a 0.5% chance of you getting it. It is the holy grail of gourmet seeds and it can almost hit 90,000 shekels worth of value when you sell it. If you pull this, protect it with your life and use it strategically. As for the other two seeds, the taco fern and artichoke, the taco fern is a 3% drop rate and you can only get it from crispy the pig directly. I think it’s actually my favorite because it looks pretty insane. And then you got the artichoke. That one shows up in the mid to high tier meal rewards and it’s a onetime harvest worth around 30,000 shekels. Now, let’s get into the real game changers. The trading system and the new pets. The gourmet egg is honestly one of the best additions to this update. However, the hatch time of this thing is 10 hours and 10 minutes. But here’s what you can actually get inside of it. The most common thing is going to be the bagel bunny that has a 50% drop rate. Its ability is pretty trash. Every 45 to 50 seconds, it munches a carrot, and all it literally does is it makes that carrot worth five times more. I don’t know about you, but if you’re just farming carrots, you’re playing the wrong game. But another pet they added is the pancake mole. You have a 38% chance of getting it. Around every 78 seconds, it goes underground and it digs up random loot like shekels or sometimes even gear. I feel like it’s like that one football pet that we got from that one event. But now let’s talk about the insane pets that they added. First up, you got the sushi bear. It has a 7% drop rate. It does two crazy things. It gives your fruits the sushi express mutation and it also feeds your pets automatically. The next rare pet we’re going to be talking about is the spaghetti sloth. You have a 4% chance of getting this and every 14 minutes it drops random mutations on nearby crops. These mutations include the pasta sauce or the meatball effects. I mean, it’s kind of slow, but it’s really consistent if you just want to boost your crop values. And finally, we got the one and only French fry ferret. You have a 1% chance of getting this thing. every 20 to 60 minutes. It levels up one random pet by one level. You don’t have to grind for XP. You don’t have to feed your pet and it’s completely automatic. I feel like this is one of the most valuable pet abilities in the game. If you hatch this, do not sell it. And if you’re actually going to trade it, make sure they’re overpaying. The French fry ferret breaks the normal pet progression system. Usually, leveling pets up is so slow, and it gets even slower the higher the level is. The French fry ferret literally hands you free levels forever. There’s also a pet called the mochi mouse. You have a 4% chance to get it from crisp pet the pig. You do not get this from the gourmet egg, though. All it does is it boosts XP gain for all food type pets in your garden. Now, let’s talk about the gear. And we’re going to start by talking about the most OP item in the game. You guys know what I’m talking about. It’s a new Grandmaster sprinkler. This is not just another sprinkler. This thing is literally broken. It speeds up the growth rate of your plant. It increases crop size and raises mutation chance more than the master sprinkler does. And it also boosts your pet bonuses. You can get it from the gourmet seed pack or as a rare drop from high tier cooking rewards. If you’re lucky enough, you can get the grandmaster sprinkler from the gear shop. Guys, finally, I’m going to be talking about trading and the food crate. The food crate is purely cosmetic, but as you all know, trading was introduced to the game and you can trade your cosmetics. The food crate gives you a 25% chance for a blue or pink cake, a 20% chance for a coffee machine, a 15% chance for a banana hammock, a 6% chance for a cheese mat or hot dog cart, or a 3% chance at a golden hot dog statue. But the one thing that actually works, I’m talking about the pancake stack. It’s literally a pancake hat. The ability that it has, it pulls your pets towards you for a few seconds when you’re wearing it. You have a 5% chance of getting the pancake stack. And finally, one of the most important things they added in this update, the trading ticket. This is your key to getting rich in this game. It cost 100,000 shekels in the gear shop or 19 Robux. Each time you trade, you burn one of these. So, make sure whenever it’s in stock, you just buy it ASAP. If you guys want strategies, here it is. If you’re a beginner just starting out, all you got to do is just focus on learning the cooking system and to build basic resources. You can start with just the mid-tier meals I mentioned earlier. And just make sure you always check for crispies cravings before you cook. Do not waste your premium crops just to learn. Only use your common ones for now. But I gave you guys the recipes earlier, so you should already know. But if you already got some experience in this game, I’ll tell you this. You want to bulk cook during events, meaning you prepare your ingredients ahead of time and make sure you also stack up on these trading tickets. You’re a pro, right? So start trading. You can also start targeting specific pets that you want, like the pancake mer sushi bear. If you’re an experienced player, I think your main goal should just be making money and getting these key pets and items. And guys, this event only lasts till August 9th, so make sure you hop on to get these limited time items and pets. Now, I’m just going to go over the things we talked about in this video so you guys do not forget. The first thing I mentioned was the hidden mechanics that people literally missed. I’m talking about the color of the pot to see what type of recipe you’re making. I also mentioned the bigger ingredients that you use, the higher quality that your dish is. And I feel like the most key thing I mentioned in this video is Crispy the Pig’s craving patterns. Make sure you track them and make sure you’re cooking recipes that Crispy the Pig actually wants. And if you guys have a chance now to stack up on these, it’ll be broken for trading value later in the future. Those things I’m talking about is going to be the Grandmaster Sprinkler and the French fry ferret. Those are actually two things. What am I talking about? But anyways, this update is literally one of the biggest updates we got because we finally got trading and grow a garden. The cooking part is just an added bonus. But if you actually deeply understand the cooking event and how to use it to your advantage, it’ll make you richer than you already are.
