Just about a year ago, Dalfonso’s Italian Imports set up shop in Buffalo’s Five Points Neighborhood promising authentic Italian goods and traditional sandwiches. Boy did they deliver! Just one look at their massive subs and cannoli and you’ll know exactly what we mean.
Now that they’ve got their feet beneath them, Dalfonso’s is packing up the prosciutto and hand pulled mozz, and heading to downtown. Their new home? A cozy storefront at 162 Allen Street (formerly Owl Eyes Cafe), right in the heart of Allentown.
For current fans, don’t worry—the menu isn’t changing. Expect all the classics: stacked Italian subs, absolutely loaded cannoli, and all the extra virgin olive oil you could ask for. The new spot will also still carry a curated selection of imported groceries and snacks straight from Italy — perfect for your homemade pizzas and pasta sauces.
Dalfonso’s will open in Allentown in early fall with more surprises on the way—stay tuned!
