Here is another staple from Turkish cuisine, pia salad. It is so simple but yet absolutely delicious. We start by thinly slicing our red onions and massage them with salt and sumach. This would make them less pungent. Then we chop a whole bunch of parsley and we chop our tomato. Throw everything into a salad bowl and we season with some freshlysqueezed lemon juice, black pepper, and extra virgin olive oil. toss and enjoy.

Piyaz Salad- another staple from Turkish cuisine
Ingredients:
1 bunch parsley
1 red medium red onion
1 large tomato
1 lemon, juiced
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tsp @sadaf_foods sumac
2 tbs @sadaf_fooods extra virgin olive oil
Method:
1. Thinly slice onions and massage them with salt and sumac, this would make them less pungent;
2. Chop tomatoes and parley and add to the bowl; season with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper;
3. Mix well and enjoy on its own, with kebabs, wraps and any protein of choice!
