I love andagi. Used to get them hot and fresh from a little Okinawa market across from my work in Honolulu. Perfectly oily and sweet but not too sweet.
When I was little I remember visiting this elderly Japanese neighbor lady and her giving us some sweets that looked just like these. Round, about the size of a golf ball. And DENSE as heck. She might have rolled them while still hot in granulated sugar, not sure. They were sooooo wonderful I never learned what they’re called. Saving the recipe thanks guys 🥰
