Hi everyone! I have a calamondin tree that is bursting at the seams and want to make Marmelade or jam. There are tons of recipes online but I am struggling to find one that has been tested. Does anyone have a recommendation?

I had never heard of this fruit before and my research took me on a *journey.* Based on what UC – Riverside had to say about the plant, I don’t think there are any tested recipes. It sounds like the fruit is very acid so make of that info what you will.

You didn’t mention this use, and it’s not canning but another method of food preservation (and still within the scope of the sub’s stated purposes), but I suspect preserving calamondins with salt (like Moroccan preserved lemons) would make a very tasty ingredient to have on hand.
