A great operation, kinda nice that they are happy as they are working…..maybe they are nice to me because I’m 60 and try speaking in my broken Spanish…..but really the whole crew are just good people!!
Food is great as well.

If you think this spot is good, give the other vendors nearby a chance! I’m Mexican and am deeply underwhelmed and disappointed every time I visit Brothers Cousins. Coincidentally I almost never see other Latin people eating here. Just my 2 cents!

I’ll take a lengua mulita please

My first taco truck in LA hahah. Are the queues still insane?
Luvyourflower
Over rated. Not that good. The meat is pretty bland.

$2 lengua and tripas tacos? Hell yeah, that’s the good stuff. Westside always comes through with the gems 🌮🔥

Good value, but not worth waiting in line for.

More Info on the Taco stands in the immediate area:
Brothers cousins is very good. I do think that people may be ordering the wrong thing if they dislike it. My go to is getting the 2 meat tongue+pastor/asada burrito. There is a SECOND location one street over on Sepulveda and National (the busy one is on Sawtelle and National).
The taco stands in front of Ross on Sepulveda and National is about as good as brothers cousins, and I think a dollar cheaper for the burritos. Highly recommend
The new guys who set up next to Brothers cousins on Sawtelle and National are just ok. Went twice but was not too impressed, so I don’t think I’ll go back
I’m interested to try the food of the Papusa ladies and the random pizza guy who showed up, so if someone has tried them lmk

I didn’t know they had a truck – only knew about the stand in front of CVS. Where is this?

Where? Please tell me

Brothers Cousins Taco on Sawtelle/National is my go to spot for al pastor! Aside from tacos/burritos, the mulita is awesome if you want a quesadilla but at a fraction of the size and price ($3)

Bro, they have papas! Where is this truck.

This place is so overrated. Spots like this are a dime a dozen once you get east of WeHo. The average customer is your typical Midwestern Transplant who lives in Santa Monica. You will never see a Latino eating here.

Last time I went to BC I didn’t see the churro cart – anyone know what’s up?

This is the most controversial taco stand in LA.
Went there before ya’ll back in 2019 after my pickup bball games at Webster and before it blew up.
Is it good? Yes, especially for the Westside.
Their burritos (no cheese) for $10 is great value (considering taco stands in East LA are $11-12) but no way would I make a trek to this stand.
There is nothing special about it. Unlike burritos and tacos at places like Sonoratown, Cinco Y Diez or Chikali, or even Tire Shop, you could blind taste test those tacos and burritos and know what you are eating. They have a distinct flavor profile/texture.
BC’s salsa game is very average, if not below average. Same goes with garnishes.
But I get it. You are in the Westside, and Mexican food/taqueria style food is very below average. So I get the hype for people who just want good, not great.

This used to be my favorite spot when I lived in the area back in 2021/22. Went back a few weeks ago and it did not hit the same. Assuming because they blew up on social media. Curious if others have had the same experience.
