Sharing in case this helps anyone! I made 100 cookies for my sister’s wedding a week in advance at my home and brought them from New York to Seattle.

I heat sealed the cookies, and put them in bubble wrap. I put 2 cookies back to back in the bubble wrap which I think helped bolster them. Then I stacked them like “soldiers” in a casserole carrier. I brought the carrier with me on the plane and had no issues with tsa! Put them up in the luggage compartment and when I unpacked them, only 2/100 had small cracks. Not bad!!

Having flown with cookies, I understand the stress! I’m so glad they made it. I’ve had luck heat sealing them individually and stacking it them upright in a shoebox, and putting them in a duffle bag. (Arrived with no cracks or breaks). I wish I could report no trouble with TSA but they got pulled each time. Once, I was handling them right up until I left for the airport so I had to get my hand swabbed so I don’t recommend that. Luckily, TSA was cool once they saw that they were cookies like I said they were. I always bring extra so when the agent asked jokingly if he could have one, was really shocked when I said yes. He was eating it while I put my shoes on and gave me a thumbs up so I guess they were TSA approved.
