Like its name, “Vino Paradise” is a heaven-like space where wine lovers and gourmets want to stay. It is a three-story wine shop & bistro with an outdoor terrace, the first floor is a cafe and wine shop with more than 400 kinds of wine, the second floor is a French-inspired bistro & bar, and the third floor is a private dining space decorated in the style of Art Deco.

The dish here is more suitable for “wine-matching food” containing the chef’s wit and senses than typical high-end French cuisine. The signature wine pairing menu is a Jambong salad with rich ham and fresh vegetables, and as a light starter, a snail dish Escargo with butter on a moist pastry filled with sauce with fresh white wine goes well together.

If you enter the alley from Exit 1 of Namyeong Station, you will notice a single-story building with a cute triangular roof. The free character is conveyed from the “menu of the day” posted with masking tape next to the door, and this is the dining wine bar “Oshu” that cooks the season. It is a small space decorated with wooden ceilings, toned-down lighting, long bar tables in contact with the kitchen, and tables for three to five people. Thanks to the open kitchen, the order in which cooking is completed becomes a performance.

The menu consists of small dish that goes well with wine such as Jambong, which combines smoked ham, butter, and bread, large pine mushrooms with Parmigiano Regiano cheese on thinly sliced raw mushrooms, large pine mushroom omelette that grinds sesame seeds from the table and fills the aroma, and small dish that goes well with wine such as cabbage wrapped in hazelnut sauce and baked in charcoal.

The wine list ranges from classic to natural. Small dogs can be accompanied, and there is a parking lot in front of the store (30 minutes free, paid later), making it easy to move before and after the meeting.

It is a brunch and wine bar with a renovated house located in a quiet alleyway in Hannam-dong. The space of “Gugugoo,” which was renovated from an old house, transforms into a sunny brunch restaurant during the day and wine dining under calm lighting in the evening. It is good to stay as it is after a mid-day walk because it is possible to accompany a dog and there is even a valet service.

Jambongbør, a fig mixed with homemade fig butter, is perfect as a starter for awakening your taste with sweetness and saltyness, and abalone pasta with a rusty abalone sauce is a popular menu that combines savory butter with grilled abalone pieces to capture both texture and flavor. You can also find unique menus such as black donkatsu lasagna, which combines crispy tenderloin pork cutlet with lasagna, and polpo with romesco sauce. All the food of Gugugu can have a satisfactory dining experience with wine.
