If there ever was a food item that suited being Prismatic, it’s a rainbow-sprinkled donut. But to make a donut in Grow a Garden, you’ll have to combine some pretty unconventional ingredients – at least most of them are sweet.
Although the highest tier donuts still need the same rare ingredients as other Grow a Garden recipes, you can actually make a Legendary tier donut using quite accessible items. Either way, there’s still a lot to remember
How to make a Donut in Grow a Garden
There are just 5 rarities of donut you can make in Grow a Garden, using the following ingredients:
Donut Rarity
Donut Recipe
Rare
2 Corn, 1 Tomato, 1 Banana
Legendary
1 Corn, 1 Serenity, 1 Sugar Apple
or
1 Corn, 1 Mango, 1 Banana
Mythical
1 Corn, 1 Sugar Apple
Divine
1 Sugarglaze, 2 Sugar Apple
Prismatic
4 Bone Blossom, 1 Sugar Glaze
A lot of the donut recipes use Sugar Apple, which is a relatively recent Prismatic rarity seed which is all the way at the bottom of the seed shop. Sugarglaze on the other hand is obtained from Gourmet Seed packs which you get as a reward from this current event, so you’ll need to farm lower-tiered meals and complete those quests first to get some.
Finally though, the most sought after and difficult ingredient is Bone Blossom. This was introduced as part of the Dino event and basically your only method of obtaining one if you haven’t got any already is by trading with other players who added them to their farm then.
Once you’ve gathered all of your desired donut ingredients, make your way to the middle of the farm plot where Chris P. Bacon’s cooking stall stands waiting.
Select each of your ingredients from your inventory to hold them in your hand, then place them carefully into the pot, making sure you can see the correct items on the sandwich board to your left. If you go wrong, empty the pot with the red button on the board and start again.
When the right items are in the pot, press the cooking button and wait for your meal to cook. Then, when it’s done, select it from your inventory to hold it in your hands and ask Chris to sample it. If it’s what he’s craving, you’ll get extra rewards!
