The inside looks fine but you really need to get the pan a little hotter to get more of a sear on the outside. I’d still eat it, though.

Looks like it was baked. Need a better sear for sure but I’m sure it was still tasty.

    Nicely boiled.

Looks like sous vide without the sear.

But, I bet it was still good!

Very grey, but at least the cook is edge to edge.

Inside looks spectacular, but the outside looks a little soft.

You could always turn the heat up on your skillet! That should solve the issue, just keep an eye on the middle.

  6. You’re supposed to sear it after the sous vide!

You did how ever you feel you did.

Did you (or your guests) enjoy it, would you make it the exact same way again? If so then you did fine.

Is the seasoning in the room with us right now?

Serousky, does no-one just cook a steak and cut bites off and eat then as they go anymore?

Uh. I’ve seen worse that’s for sure.

If you’re saying “lightly seasoned”, it likely would benefit from more s&p

The inside looks spectacular for sure !! It just needs that beautiful seasoned crust that makes your mouth salivate for the next bite ! White hot cast iron skillet with a tbsp of oil .

How long did you microwave it? Looks bad

Hairdryer or just left in on the dash while in the liquor store?
