Born in Brazil. Grew up poor. Made to the top while in Brazil. Went bankrupt. Sold my apartment, moved to Canada. Started from 0. Went back to school for a degree that was only worth the immigration papers, paying 10x what a Canadian usually does. By graduation day, I had 2000 dollars to my name and 3000 dollars worth of bills to pay. That was 9 years ago. Today I can afford buying a $50 bottle of wine. Life is beautiful. Life is great. Can't wait to try those in Italy. I'll make it there. One day.

Congrats, no need to be poor and sad anymore, you’re doing great. Brunello’s are the first wine that made me fall in love with wine and will always hold a special place in my heart.

Thank you everyone! I had never tried a Brunello before and was afraid it would be too earthy, too dry to my sweet taste. Boy I was wrong. It isn’t sweet but it’s sweet enough. It is fruity; soft. I can’t pretend I know much – I don’t. I was drinking beer and heavy liquor. Only got to appreciate such things recently. Studying, learning. It went great with the tomahawk. The ribs are still cooking. Slowly, as they should. They’re going to come off the bones, as I did after drinking this wine. I’m still poor, but definitely not sad at this moment.
