Food was great! Pulled pork wasn’t my favorite (little dry) also not pictured were the burnt ends which were really good too.

What did that tray cost? looks pretty substantial.

Almost looks like Memphis BBQ to me, which was always overdone and therefore dry as hell. Nothing like Texas and Carolina BBQ. How much did that end up costing you?

Just so everyone else know, Jack Stack steams all their meats. There is no smoker on site in any way shape or form. All the meats come in precooked and they simply steam them to reheat. Is it still good food? Yes, but it’s NOT KC BBQ. Try McGonigle’s meat market at 79th and Ward Pkwy (you’re welcome). Those guys know how to smoke and the pit is right out front for you to smell as you drive down the road.

We cater jack stack at our office fairly often, in our experience the cater is better then in the restaurant. But in general most of us would pick several other BBQ places over jackstack
Joe’s Slaps Q39 Char bar Meat Mitch
To name a few.

That plate plus two sides that cost $5.75, so it all cost more than $52 plus tax.
Still a pretty good deal in this town.

Go to Joe’s, Q39, and if you’re feeling frisky, there’s a Thai-BBQ fusion place called Buck Tui that I found excellent.

First time I ever had burnt ends was there 14 years ago. Changed my life.

Jack Shack sounds like the name of a place to avoid the white sauce
