Every photo I see of this cultivar is super bizarre/awkward so I am trying to uphold the tradition. Anyways this is a big girl. It looks like I put a balloon in my fridge. Haven't tasted it yet but am thinking of doing a parmesan.
I know I'm being silly here but this was actually really important to me. It's an Iraqi variety, where my family is from. I bought these seeds specifically for my grandmother but she passed soon after I sowed them early this year. I think she would have really liked to see it. She wasn't used to seeing any veggies besides the standard ones at the store so I would show her unusual ones on my phone or from the farmers market, and it would blow her mind that they came in so many shapes and colors.
