From Cape May County to Morris County, food festivals are scheduled are a favorite summer event.

Ocean Township Italian Festival, Friday, Aug. 8, Saturday, Aug. 9 and Sunday, Aug. 10

The 49th Anniversary Ocean Township Italian Festival will take place at Joe Palaia Park, 200 Whalepond Road in Oakhurst. The event features a broad selection of Italian fare.

Hosted by the Ocean Township Italian American Association, the festival will run from 4 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 4 to 10 p.m. on Sunday.

The event will include rides, games, live music, and, fireworks on Friday.

Bellview Winery Seafood Festival, Saturday, Aug. 9 and Sunday, Aug. 10

The Festival will be held both days from noon to 5 p.m. at the winery located at 150 Atlantic St., Landisville. (856-697-7172).

The event will feature local seafood vendors, live music, sangria, wine, and craft vendors.

General admission tickets are $22 at the gate. There is no admission fee for those younger than 21. The first 700 guests each day will receive a special 2025 Seafood Festival wine glass.

The event will feature live music and there will be Bellview wines available by the glass, bottle or growler and two specialty sangrias available for the weekend. Sangria will be available by the glass and the carafe.

Stone Harbor’s Festival of Lights Viewing Party, Saturday, Aug. 9

Stone Harbor’s Festival of Lights Viewing Party will feature food trucks, a wine and beer garden and music on Saturday night from 7 to 10 p.m.

The event at the Jersey Shore town’s municipal marina lot on 81st Street and the bay is timed around the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor’s boat parade, which starts at 8 p.m.

Chester Summer Food Truck & Music Festival, Saturday, Aug. 9

The festival, a benefit for the Chester First Aid Squad, will be held from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Chester Municipal Field, 134 Main St.

Admission is $5 with children younger than 5 admitted for free.

The event will feature food trucks, a beer garden, live music, mini golf, face painting, knockerball, sand art, a bounce house, vendors, a bungee trampoline and rock wall.

FesTomato! at Walking Bird Farm, Saturday, Aug. 9

FesTomato! will be held at the farm located at 250 S Mannheim Ave., Egg Harbor City, from noon to 5 p.m.

The annual event, hosted by Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey to “highlight and promote NJ’s favorite summer vegetable (or fruit?) and the amazing farms and farmers that grow them.”

FesTomato! is a free event intended for the whole family, with tomato tastings, farm tours, culinary demonstrations, live music, and local vendors.

Atlantic Highlands Music & Food Truck Festival, Sunday, Aug. 10

The festival will run from noon to 8:30 p.m. on the Atlantic Highlands Marina Lawn, 2 Simon Lake Drive.

The event will feature 19 food trucks, 15 artist vendors, four bands, and “one giant” wine, sangria and beer garden.

Flemington Food Truck Festival, Saturday, Aug. 9

Food truck enthusiasts will have a new reason to visit Flemington this weekend as the town introduces its first Food Truck Festival.

The event, which will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Shoppes of Flemington, 100 Reaville Ave., will feature many food trucks previously seen at the town’s annual Corn, Tomato and Beer Festival, which has been postponed until next year due to construction on Stangl Road.

Visitors can expect a culinary lineup including Al Fresco’s, Corn Hub, Cas’ Pierogi & Kielbasa, Cousins Maine Lobster, Endless Empanada, and Fuel Waffle Co. Additional vendors include Humdoo Ice Cream, Kombucha Bar, Little Egypt Oasis, Local Harvest Pizza, Pudgy’s Famous Fries, and Viva Mexico.

Beyond the food, the festival will feature entertainment with a DJ, kids’ activities including face painting, balloon animals, fairy hair, and a chalk area.

The event cosponsored by The Shoppes at Flemington and loveflemington.com, will feature shopping giveaways.
