Here pictured we have a meal worth 1000 calories. Yes, it may be too high in calories for your specific needs but LOOK AT THE VOLUME!! (I’m aiming to gain weight but also still a fan of volume because I have issues 😀) this meal could easily be split into 2 portions with still a huge amount of volume.

1st tip. Have whatever you crave BUT add a huge green salad dressed with apple cider vinegar (or whatever low calorie dressing) on the side and eat first. – I added corn, avocado, beets, tomatoes and pickes to mine to make it more satisfying.

2nd tip- mix what you fancy with (rice) with a volume food to add volume (cauliflower rice) cheese and cottage cheese, double liquid and stock, low fat mixed with full fat. Adding peas/beans and corn to rice also helps bulk it out

3rd tip- lots of spices and herbs to add flavour .

Here pictured I have a tuna bean rice/stew soupy thing? Huge volume meal while still being satisfying.

Ingredients: rice, cauliflower rice, beans, tuna, courgette, onions, garlic, tomato puree, sundried tomatoes, herbs/spices/stock. Topped with air fried pumpkin, cottage cheese and real cheese -extending the cheesiness.

Veg can be made delicious but don’t prank yourself that by eating them raw and unseasoned is pleasurable just for the volume purposes as they might fill you but won’t necessarily satisfy you. Veg and volume swaps have so much potential if you treat them right !
