So it seems I’ve got some back burning happening based on what I’ve seen in the subreddit history. Cleaned everything out. Lost some paint inside the hopper. Didn’t see replacement hoppers for sale on the website. Any thoughts on where to go from here?

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!
If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!
*What seasoning did you use?
*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?
*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?
Traeger on!

I would contact support. They are pretty good. I got my replacement smoke stack from them.
This seems to be a common problem posted on this Reddit. I’ve become a bit paranoid about it, so I thoroughly clean often (like after every cook). Any other tips on how to avoid this?
What type of pellets, how often do you vacuum your grill and hopper? Do you vacuum the fire pot? And do you always perform a proper shut down?
I’m going through this now, I think. ‘Failed to ignite’ but then lots of smoke, rapidly increasing temps, fire in the belly, massive smoke in the hopper. Shut the whole thing down to diagnose.
