A hill I will die on is you need to apply it as you go instead of spreading it on the sandwich. That also goes with burritos and most ways of applying hot sauces. Also agree with other commenters that this sandwich needs giardenera and oil and vinegar.
I am very much a ratio person when it comes to sandwiches and I’m having a hard time judging if this is pretty spot on for that amount of bread or if it is one of those that always look appealing and you are majorly disappointed after a few bites and realize you made way too much sandwich.
