Looking for a legendary comfort food? You got to try my chicken fried steak, tender cube steak with a creamy peppery gravy. Come on. Let me show you how I do it. The marinade is just buttermilk, hot sauce, and eggs. Season up my flour and cornstarch mixture. I let them marinate for about an hour. Then I got my steaks well coated, and then I let this rest while I preheat my oil. I’m going to fry these up for a couple minutes on both sides so they nice and golden brown like this right here. Then I let them sit in the warm oven while I make my gravy. For the gravy, I use some of that oil that I fried the steaks in along with some of that seasoned flour. Then I add in some chicken stock for some flavor and then some milk to make it nice and creamy. Season this up with some coarse black pepper and salt to taste. You want to bring that up to a little boil and then you want to lower the heat and let it simmer till it’s nice and thick the way you want it. Chicken fried steak. You can find a recipe on my website and Oh yeah. Oh yeah, that’s off the chain.

  2. I love the food, but I still think you need to narrate stories/recipes. That voice is as deep and warm as a veloutΓ© with the rich meltyness burre blanc.
