I’ve got a Friariello Di Napoli pepper plant turning out a healthy crop of these pods. As I understand it they’re a popular frying pepper from Napoli but I can’t find a single recipe online. I’m guessing in olive oil and salt, any other ideas?

Wow, those look great. Fry them, stuff and pop in the oven, throw them on a barbecue (extra easy to peel) or just finely chopped in a salad!
Garlic and parsley complement them well.
I think I need an espresso because mia testa di minchia thought there was a lion in the background.
Because you spelled it wrong: it’s called friggitello, not friariello. Also, these seem a bit too big and thick to be friggitelli and their color should be green, at least in the original recipe from Naples. [Here’s a recipe](https://www.giallozafferano.com/recipes/Pan-fried-Friggitelli.html)
