I can see a world were something *like* this would work, but that sure as hell ain’t it.

  2. MalnoureshedRodent

Honestly it would probably taste great. My main issue with this is that the “patty” only has burger meat around the outside, so the middle of the burger is just wet pineapple and jalapeño

  3. Mykiss420

This would really go great with a sink full of Jungle Juice made from the lowest quality liquors available on the market.

  4. BlaineMundane

OK, uh… yeah. I want it. I feel bad about it, but I do.

  5. IAteSushiToday

Only thing that ruined it for me was the bacon and whatever sauce was slathered all over it.

  6. Ancient_Access_6738

I put pineapple on burgers and it’s fucking great. But this is executed stupidly.

  7. I would 100% eat that somewhere else. 0% chance I’d do all that work to eat it tho

  8. pancakesausagestick

Reminds me of this dish at the local Mexican restaurant they call the piña loco. It’s shrimp fajitas served in a half hollowed out pineapple with chunks of the pineapple in it. Very tasty.

33 seconds in is prime material for r/shitfromabutt

  10. Why do people have to ruin everything by putting pineapple on it? That looked so good with the meat wrapped in jalapenos. Get some sauteed onions on there too and mmmm..

  11. earthtobobby

I thought he was gonna slice and serve it with the pineapple rind, like a Wellington.

  12. Millkstake

Gross it’s just a meat rollup inside a pineapple

  13. No-Guarantee-2025

Watching the meat get pooped out of a pineapple was unappetizing

  14. justanotherthrwaway7

Just bad technique. Flavors could be there but the chaos of textures would no be good. Plus, who cuts up a raw onion in quarters like that to eat?

Honestly, as soon as I saw Chefclub I knew it was ragebait.

  15. Chele11713

More like a pineapple meatloaf….looks good to me.

  16. yourmomwoo

Take those red onions back off that bun, and I’d eat it

Black gloves in food preparation are illegal in some countries and should be illegal in the United States. Disgustingly unsanitary.

  18. Quick_Initial6352

Idea looks great! But that meat looks so dry wtf make me a new one bro!

  19. SaltyInternetPirate

If they cut the slices from the roll to half that, yeah. I don’t know what exactly to expect, but the pineapple juices baked into the meat should be interesting in a good way.

  20. I’d probably go with chicken thighs or thin sliced breast in there with some teriyaki sauce. That actually sounds delicious for this weekend

  21. _Kramerica_

The cut at 14-16 seconds is clearly reformed because that first roll up was falling apart and a disaster lmao. Not fooling anybody bro FOH.

  22. You know what? Good meat, fruit, salty/acid/sweet combination. Bacon.

    Give it to me.

  23. rohrschleuder

Is eat that in a heartbeat. Throw some Canadian bacon on it while you’re at it!

  24. Small_Discount_3029

I love pineapple pizza and this actually looks nice. I think I’m gonna buy a burger tomorrow and add a slice of pineapple to it. Thanks for the inspiration

  25. karoshikun

yeah, kind of stupid. lots of still raw pineapple and jalapeno inside, soggy bacon… I think it would have worked fine without the pineapple flesh inside.

    why not like this:

the meat with bits of jalapeño mixed in, get it to cook inside the pineapple along with some of the pineapple flesh.

then wrap the meat capsule in bacon, broil it till crispy with the drippings falling on the bits of pineapple.

serve it sliced on the bun with whatever toppings, add the pineapple on top, close the bun.

  26. 420Entomology

Idk this looks highly appetizing, would absolutely destroy that burger.

  27. Not really a burger, more like a meatloaf sandwich.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I think this video is lying. Does the loaf look browned all the way down? It shouldn’t be if it was actually cooked inside the pineapple. I know there’s a sauce on it, but the meat itself looks a little too nice for cooked in something. Really should be pulling it out and cooking it directly to brown a little, and I think that was actually done, but not shown.

  28. hereiamnotagainnot

Who cuts onions like that to put on a burger?!

  29. -Kerosun-

Am I the only one that would absolutely smash that, drunk or not?

  30. dumbledogg89

“Hey it’s me, person who has never cut an onion for a burger in my life.”

  31. SpicyMarmots

It seems like you could get just as much flavor with way less work, but still, 100% would.

  32. taniamorse85

I noticed ‘Juicy Lucy’ in the description. If they did it like an actual Jucy Lucy and put the toppings within a patty, I’d eat it. How they did it in the video is just poor execution.
