try this easy dinner idea by placing one bag of lentils into the bottom of your crock pot next we’re adding one can of diced tomatoes some chopped celery chopped carrots chopped onion and of course some garlic let’s season up with a little bit of minced onion some ground cumin a little bit of curry powder ground masala and of course a few bay leaves then we’re adding in a total of four cups of low sodium veggie broth or you can use chicken broth if you prefer along with 2 cups of room temperature water you can keep this vegetarian or you can use some meat in there if you prefer to add a little bit of extra protein give it a lid and let it cook on high for 4 to 6 hours until nice and steamy top with some cilantro or parsley before serving i love this easy dinner idea it’s healthy and flavorful everyone’s going to absolutely want you to make this every Wednesday

  1. Pretty sure you have to remove the bay leaves for safety sake—not safe to eat just for adding flavor while cooking. 🙂 Looks great!

  2. It's better if you first boil the lentils on their own, then change the water and add the rest of the ingredients plus a little olive oil. Half an hour is more than enough for the lentils to cook. Instead of Boullion cubes or broth, I use a loaded tablespoon of miso with water.

  3. Must put lentilles in water a day before, it has poisoned material that needs to go out in water
