One thing I’m not going to do is learn how to cut this traditional star design into my tray of kebe through my mom’s WhatsApp audio recordings. So, let me show you visually how it’s done step by step. It’s actually not as complicated as it looks once you get the hang of it. And you can apply the same design to your tray of helbe or namura. So, I want to simplify this as much as possible. Start by cutting it into fourths first and then into eighs. Then, we’re going to work with two pieces at a time. Using that middle line between the two sections as your guide, you’re just going to cut two parallel lines in each section. Then you’re going to do the same thing, but using the outer line of the sections as your guide for parallel lines. You’ll see how in the first quadrant I used the middle line to start my parallel lines. And in the second quadrant, I use the outer lines to start drawing my parallel lines. Either way, you get the same result. And then as you go along, you just continue connecting the lines with the quadrant next to it. And you end up with this beautiful star shape. If I’ve overwhelmed you talking about lines and quadrants and parallel lines, just listen to this video on mute. I find it so much easier to just watch and copy rather than to listen someone describe it. And bonus, here’s two ways that you can design your kit before putting in the oven. The first one is to just cut little slits into each piece. And the second one is to decorate it with whatever nuts you want. You can use the same nuts throughout the entire tray or or do like a design of walnuts on the outside and almonds on the inside. And then drench it in your Just don’t make it at all. Okay, bye.

  2. It reminds me of a healthy Algerian🇩🇿 sweets that I was given as a gift when I did a trip as a tourist in Algeria and it was so chewy, delightful, flavors where absolutely amazing and no sugar needed only fresh and healthy ingredients made with fine torrified semolina, honey, fresh made brown butter to give that nutty flavour and many kind of nuts especially pistachios, peanuts, cashews and almonds but it can be optional or do just one type of nuts then vanilla paste and most importantly date paste why most importantly cause the dates of Algeria have a really good reputation in the Arabic world known for it's candy like flavor and texture like honey and carameI with a satisfying chew to it golden and quite see through forgot it's name byur I will never forget it's taste and texture incredible discovery cause i kept eating them every morning in Algeria with mint tea or milk and coffee or just some good Algerian fresh made coffee by it self or with fresh pressed rose water it's really a tradition there and since then I kept coming back to Algeria and every time I get gifted with fresh olive oil and rose water tons of beatiful sweets that you just wanna look at and not eat cause scared of ruining such beatiful pieces of art cause every sweetlooks just like a jewelry or accessorie you don't wanna ruin it you just wanna preserve it the longer possible to show it off to everyone from it's beauty they are really known for such an artwork in the area world and I got so addicted to them I had to take a lot of it back in America😂❤and I get why they are obsessed with freshly made things and cooking from scratch with only healthy natural ingredients I wish that the same obsession was present in my country but not am unfortunately, thank you a lot Algerian people to worry about my health now at every snacking time or morning I am making these even tho I'm am not so talented as all Algerian women are I will try my best🇩🇿💚❤️🤍🇺🇲😂

  3. This is exactly how we cut "Baklawa" in Algeria 🇩🇿 , then we put a whole almond in each peace.
It's amazing how food from different regions is presented the same way, always the presentation of the food catches the eye before eating ^^

  4. The overall effect is this pan is very pretty but bruh in my family we just use a rectangular pan and cut diagonal lol

  5. Goodness americans don't know what this is? We brazilians LOVE kibbeh! We call it Kibe(🗣️keebee) and we use grinded beef instead of lamb.
Always served fried in birthday parties as small balls. It appears in the shape of an american football with a catupiry/requeijão(brazilian cream cheeses) filling in snack bars. For the dinner table it goes to the oven in a pyrex tray.
We are also very fond of Salada Tabule(Tabbouleh) and Esfirra(Sfiha).

  6. I LOVE KIBBEH we also eat this in Dominican Republic and we call it Kippe!! Most commonly we eat it as a street food similar to empanadas and such.

  7. Never heard of kibbeh before, but it looks great and the design is really pretty. From reading the comments, it sounds like it's pretty good too. Might save this to see if I can ever make it
