It’s my husband’s birthday weekend, so let’s make his favorite sausage gravy and biscuits. We’re going to start by browning this one lb of sausage until it’s nice and brown. While this is all cooking, we’re also going to start our biscuits. He likes the canned biscuits, even though I think homemade ones are better with it. Now, I’m going to add 2 Tbsp of butter and 1/4 of a cup of flour and let this cook down. To that, I’m going to slowly add three cups of milk. I added a little half and half in that as well to make it a little extra creamy. I also added salt and pepper to this until it was how we like it and served it
