These “giant jack o lantern” pumpkins were off to a slow start due to a cold spring and I thought none would be ready by the fall but look at this chunk! My size 13 foot for scale lol. My first time trying pumpkins! 🤩

Congrats! Now all you need is a fairy godmother and some mice and you’ll make it to the ball after all. 😁

But seriously – that’s incredible. I’ve never been able to grow any kind of gourd, and those are so pretty.

That pumpkin looks amazing! Can’t wait to hear how it tastes,😋 fresh homegrown pumpkins always have such a rich, sweet flavor. Are you planning to roast it, make pie, or something else?

When it was 8 I grew 100+ lbs pumpkins. Tried to grow them again this year and not one female flower. Confuckingradulatios!. Its an absolute beauty.

Wish me luck 🙏 I got some sugar pumpkins growing. Pumpkin soup and pie will be plenty

My god that is a beautiful first pumpkin.

  6. How long did it take? I didn’t plant my pumpkin seeds until mid July given it said I can harvest in 90 days. I didn’t wanna have to hold on to pumpkins much before Oct 15 or so when we typically put out fall stuff.
