Open Farm has expanded its Freshly Crafted line with 11 new recipes across four formats and launched a digital Meal Plan Builder that creates personalized feeding recommendations based on individual dog characteristics.

The fresh dog food line, introduced in 2019, features human-grade ingredients with humanely raised meat or Ocean Wise recommended fish as the first ingredient, plus non-GMO fruits and vegetables. Products are gently cooked and frozen to preserve nutrients.

“Nutrition is one of the most powerful ways we can support a dog’s health,” said Dr. Moran Tal-Gavriel, BSc, DVM, DVSc, Dip. ECVCN, head of Veterinary Nutrition, Open Farm. “Freshly Crafted combines real, recognizable, human-grade ingredients in veterinary-approved recipes — rooted in expertise and made to help your dog thrive.”

The new Meal Plan Builder uses factors including age, weight, activity level and body type to generate recipe recommendations and feeding guidelines for both online and retail purchases.

“Pet parents are looking for more thoughtful, personalized approaches to nutrition,” said Mark Sapir, chief marketing officer, Open Farm. “With Freshly Crafted, we’re combining premium, vet-approved recipes with the convenience and intelligence of our personalized meal builder — making it easier than ever to feed your pet in a way that’s tailored to their unique needs.”

Each recipe features non-GMO superfoods like sweet potatoes, cranberries and pumpkin, and offers guaranteed omega fatty acids for skin and coat health plus probiotics for digestive support.
