Having issues with Weber Customer service. I have the Weber EP 435 that comes with brushed stainless steel control panel. Mine came scratched out of the box they send me one but the material is not the same it’s like silver paint with an orange skin surface instead of the brushed raw metal.

    Get used to it. Weber was purchased by a private equity firm. The quality, workmanship, and customer service will only go down.

    Maybe they changed the material to avoid those scratches.

    Is this an issue of ep435 vs s435? The S version is the stainless. I am not sure if the s434 has a stainless front panel in addition to the lid.
