  1. I just use olive oil and a little paper. Drizzle olive oil on the charcoal and paper. Light the paper.

    Paper bag that my charcoal comes in, free, and I get about five or six light-ups out of one.

    Paraffin cubes are cheap – 1 lb block is under $4 and you can adjust the amount used. I’ve also used cheap votive candles in a pinch.
