[Music] when I lead my lipst [Music] to leave it to kind of angl [Music] CV. [Music] Greetings from Jacksonville, Arkansas. Today is Monday, June 16th, 2025, and the time is a few minutes after 6:00 p.m. You all, I just grabbed my camera. Before I fix my plate, I just want to check in and let you know what I’m up to here in the state of Arkansas. I have here broccoli, rice, and cheddar broccoli cheese rice. And I sauteed the rice first with pure butter and then I actually I sauteed it for about 3 minutes until some of the pieces start turning a little bit brown but not all of it till it got a little bit toasty. And then I added the packaging instructions, which we’re going to go right back over here and take a look at the packaging instructions, which says to add take 2 and 1/2 tablespoon of butter or margarine and use 2 and 1/4 cups of water. And then it comes with the little package seasoning mix. You will put that in there. And so the instructions is that you will sauté it over medium heat and till golden brown and then stir frequently and then slowly stir in your water and seasoning mix and boil or cook. Reduce your heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. So So as you notice that this has a lot of greenery in here because I always customize this packaging stuff to suit my taste. I added market side spinach. Now you all, I purchased this market side spinach when it was fresh, but I didn’t use all of it. It was leafy. And so what I did was I took this 10 oz package of spinach. I believe that’s 10 oz there. I took this this spinach and what I had left of it, I froze it. And so I just fold it down and then put it inside of a freezer bag. So, I take out and pull out what I need when I need it. For those who don’t know, spinach is good for you. And it’s especially fresh spinach. I like to take fresh spinach and make like a nice salad with blue cheese and fresh chicken breast meat. Pull that apart and a little ranch on the side with croutons and all of my favorite salad toppings. But also like to put it in like broccoli, cheese, rice, and other recipes. This product can be found at Walmart. Of course, you can buy spinach anywhere, but this is market side product. And of course, it’s showing that it has 15% iron per serving and 10% potassium. Not only did I put in some fresh spinach, I also put in added a little bit, not a lot, is because it doesn’t take a lot of this chopped frozen green peppers that’s already diced up. If I add just a little bit, like maybe about eight pieces of peppers to be exact. Not enough to overpower it, but to enhance the flavor. You can see a little bit of that green pepper right there, y’all. So, I put in the amount of water that it called for. But I actually had in this pan right here, I fried some bacon like yesterday. I’m really good bacon. And so, that pan had some bacon in it. And I wasn’t going to let none of that go to waste. You don’t have to add baking drippings, but instead of like using like right here on this packaging mix, it says use two and a half tablespoon of butter or margarine. I only use like um a tablespoon of butter to sauté it. And then I actually use the leftover baking drippings because this contains real spinach. I mean, they put a little They actually put a It’s supposed to be broccoli in there. It’s like you’ll be lucky if you can find broccoli in there, but it is little hints of broccoli piece um taste in there. So, I like to add spinach on top of the so-called broccoli that they have in there. And then sometimes I will actually put broccoli in there as well, but I’m out of the broccoli fuettes. And so, before I serve this, let me get a spoon. I’m going to add a little bit of sharp cheddar cheese. I did add some additional salt or seasoning flavors because anytime that you’re adding like vegetables, whether it be broccoli or, you know, in this case spinach, you want to and it does contains broccoli. Again, you guys, this cheddar broccoli rice, but I added spinach to because it’s more it’s healthier, right? And so, and it gives it more oomph, more flavor. So, anytime that you’re adding like raw vegetables, you may want to like adjust your seasoning. The packaging mix that it comes with is like right in here. It’s a little brown package. It contains seasoning. Uh you want to adjust your seasoning to your taste, you know, to make sure that everything is balanced out. So what I did was because I added the broccoli, I went in with just a little bit, not a lot of the lries. I did add a little bit of black pepper. I did add a little bit of garlic powder. I put basil leaves in there. And it’s it saves leaves, but it’s really just a flaky herb. That one is just about out. And then put in did I say chili powder? Add a little bit of chili powder. A little hint of the mgi. And I’ve got to replace this. It’s about empty. A little bit of the Maki chicken buan. I should have some cubes back here. Yeah, I also have the new chicken banan flavor cubes. And so, yeah, I went in there with that. And then paprika is optional because chili powder is similar to paprika. And I did add just a little bit of salt to be on the safe side. Now you guys, let me do this without further hesitation. And then I’m going to show you the meat that I have to go with this. And I’m put my cheese back in the fridge. So this is going to be the sharp cheddar cheese. [Applause] And I’m just going to sprinkle a little bit here. It’s already a cheese rice. You know, you don’t have to add anything. You can add, you know, but if you like, if you’re going to be adding extra vegetables, I recommend adding a little sharp cheddar cheese, that should do the trick. Or if you got American cheese, whatever your favorite cheese is, it it’ll work. And I’m going to give this a stir. And cuz this is hot, so you can see it melt. And then back over here, you guys, I have some chicken wings that I turned off about a half an hour ago. The pot is still hot. So, let me show you what I have here. I took these chicken wings and boil them in seasoned water. It’s hard to get a hold to quality chicken, you guys. This is bone in. I wanted to get like chicken breast, split fryer chicken breast, y’all. They don’t even sell that anymore. Everything is frozen. And don’t worry about that there. But anyways, that’s Look y’all. I boiled these. They are tender. And I hope that you know that it should be a decent. It may not be perfect chicken wings, but these are boiled chicken wings that I’m going to be eating with the broccoli cheese rice. Y’all, let me fill that pot right there. It’s still It’s still gonna be hot enough to eat, you guys. You may not see it steam up. So, I put in the boiled water back here, you guys. I put I just went in with this works, okay? You know, I put in my favorite seasonings, seasoning salt, garlic powder, diced up some onions, put in a little bit of minced garlic, garlic powder, and you know, just whatever you like to season and, you know, your boiled chicken breast with, and a little bit of black pepper as well. So, you all look, I’m just going to give this a stare and I’m going to get ready to plate her up and then I’m going to be done with my video and this will be uploaded at a later date. I thank you guys for watching. Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. So, let me get her plater up and then then I’ll be off of here. I’m ready to fix my plate. So, I’m just going to stir this. Now, again, you don’t have to add baking drippings, you all. I’m a cook. from the south and we don’t waste anything. If I didn’t use that bacon grease, I mean like I mean like if I didn’t put the bacon grease in here, it was going to get used anyways. I mean if I I’ll put it in greens. I’ll put it in beans, whatever, you know, to make things taste better. So hold on. Let me let me plate this up. Okay, you all. This chicken is falling apart. So it’s tender. Okay, so you can see what it look like on the inside here. pretty much. Let’s just go ahead and and plate her up. I did put out some utensils because I had gotten a comment if you know whether or not if I had any silverware. So, I just pull this out. I prefer the plastic one, but I just pull this out for the YouTube algorithm. Okay. So, let’s go ahead without further ado and let’s go ahead and put let me go ahead and put a little bit of this broccoli. Y’all take a look at that. See the big pieces of broccoli in there. I always like customize my food to suit my taste. You know, of course, you can go right ahead and fix this stuff just, you know, as it is from the box, but you know, as a cook, sometimes you want to just kick things up a notch and, you know, go on and, you know, add a little extra there. And so, even though this isn’t not a big plate, I also have I’m just put, you know, plating this up so you can see what I’m having today. Also have some hot sauce, some Louisiana hot sauce, you guys. Um, of course that this is optional, you know, to each his own. And then I pulled out Sam’s cola, which is equivalent to CocaCola. You know, I actually had gotten a two litter cola for the first time. Sam’s cola, and it was flat as crap, but usually these are really good. Okay, so I have this Sam’s cola and then of course the broccoli cheese rice. So this is going to complete my video. I thank you guys for watching. Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe. See you guys in the next [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music]
