This is semi embarrassing to ask, but it’s worth it to fix my problem.

I have no idea what I’m doing wrong and I’ve changed the way I add the top and am sure to pipe the filling evenly, but I still end up with macs where the filling looks squished unevenly. Is this a filling issue, a technique issue ? I want to know what I’m doing wrong! I’d love any advice I can get.

How have you changed the way you place the top on? Curious because I have this issue as well

Doesn’t look like a filling issue. If you’re piping right in the middle of the shell and then putting on the top one you can still adjust it by gently pushing and wiggling the shells together until you get the desired look. Regardless still looks tasty and no one’s gonna tell you the filling looks “uneven” 😆

  3. Its probably when you piped it (swirling around) u apply different pressure so its lower on one side. People like to use a big tip and pipe just one big blob of cream in the middle and sandwiching down.
