In my ongoing war with woodland creatures these jewelry bags have been my only advantage. I’ve lost over 80 peppers this year to small teeth. We’re in central Texas – is anyone else experiencing higher than usual rodent aggravations? I currently have just under 100 bags deployed on 18 or so plants. Strangely, my buena mulata is the only plant untouched. They decimated the super hots, even, which was shocking.

Precisely why I bought a Rat terrier. My dog has killed 17 rabbits in 7 years.

Do you have any water available in your yard for wildlife? Many times, animals are looking for a water source which is why they never actually eat the whole thing. Giving them some water can help keep them happy and away from the garden.

I have the same thing, squirrels are a pain in my area the dog up the soil to bury seeds in my peppers. I’m perfecting my set up, 5 gal buckets with a cage.
