So the new Kroger next to the house opened up running a great deal on meats. My wife is working from home today and was able run out on her lunch break and brought home 4 butts, 2 briskets, and a rack of ribs for just over $100!

    I see all these posts and get jealous. Where I live in Canada, $9/pound for brisket and $3.50/for pork is a good deal. $100 here would barely pay for one of those briskets.

    I worked in the BBQ biz for years in Dallas. I remember when Brisket shot up to $1.20 a lb and everyone freaked out. I live in Oregon today and bought a great brisket but it was $150! Came out great and the fam loved it but I didn’t tell the wife how much I paid. 😋

    Hi! I’m the wife. These comments have me DYING. First of all, thank you to all of the comments calling me a keeper. I try to not let him forget🤪 also, the sale was a grand opening sale for the new store that opened yesterday. Not sure if all Krogers have this deal this week but good luck!

    To answer a few questions, the briskets were $25 and $30. They had bigger ones! I got the smaller ones because it’s just the two of us. The 4 butts were around $10 each (give or take) and the ribs (not on his wish list but a recent favorite to smoke) was $10. Total was $105 for everything.
