2 pounds of string beans
9 Yukon Gold potatoes
JJS OWN red wine vinaigrette or you can use olive oil and red wine vinegar
2 TBSP of dried oregano
Salt and pepper taste
Half a medium red onion sliced
Quarter cup of olive oil oil

Baby doll, what are you doing tonight? All right, so this is actually for tomorrow cuz you could prepare this. That’s why I’m not very eager about this. It’s not for me. All right, so I’m making Dominique stopped by cuz she wants pasta. Dr. Dominique is here. Okay, so we’re making string bead and potato salad and my favorite. I make this a couple of different ways. Tonight I’m making it this way. All right, so I’ll tell you my ingredients. I have string beans. I have potatoes. These are the Yukon Gold. Yukon Gold. I have fresh basil dried out from Dominique’s yard. Okay. I have red onion. I put it in water to get the potency out. Okay. I have JJ’s own red wine vinegarette. Thank you, JJ. Okay. I have salt and pepper to taste and I have olive oil. We’re going to get right to it. I’m really not that into this video because I’m not going to eat it. You’re not going to eat it? Well, are you going to leave some for me? I promise. Okay, then I’ll get into it then. We’ll be back, guys. All right, my love. First things first. Always salt your water, right? Okay. So, we’re going to boil my glasses of We’re going to boil the potatoes in one and the string beans in another. You’re going to leave me some, right? I promise. So, all the measurements will be on our YouTube channel, Family Talk and Taste. Okay. So, we’re going to let these cook and then we’ll come back when everything’s all nice and soft. And I cut the potatoes in half so they cook faster. Good. I I tell you. I tell you. All right. We’ll be back. Beautiful colors. We’ll be back. All right, baby doll. Okay, my love. I boiled the string beans for 8 minutes. I’m taking them out. Your glass steamed your thing steamed up. I know. So, I took them off. But now, the potatoes still need time. So, they’re all steamy. But it’s going away. You mean steamy hot? All right. So, the string beans are done, but the potatoes are not. So, we’re going to wait for the potatoes, and we’ll be back when the potatoes are done. We need those potatoes. We do. All right, my love. All right, so potatoes are ready. So, we boiled the potatoes for about 40 minutes. I squished them up a little bit. He He yelled at me and told me not to. No, cuz when you stir them, they squish up. That’s why my mother made it. Listen. All right. So, I even though I’m adding the JJ’s own dressing, I still got to put a little bit of olive oil. Okay. You got to like I don’t want to say drench it, but Exactly. Cuz these are very starchy, right? Potatoes. Now, my mother made them with olive oil and what else? Your mother I I don’t And paprika. Oh, yeah. That’s right. And paprika. And And you know what though? Um, I make this a couple of different ways cuz sometimes I just do olive oil and sometimes I do the vinegar with it, too. So, I do switch it up. Okay, so now we’re going to put our red onions. Okay, look at that. Beautiful. We’re going to do our JJ’s own red wine vinegarette. Okay. Oopsie. That was a little thick on top. Okay, here we go. We’re going to pour it in. Okay, and this is this is another thing that’s the taste. Salt and pepper to taste. Also dressings to taste. Dressings to taste, too. And we’re going to add salt and pepper now. And this is delicious dried oregano. Okay. That’s from Dom’s backyard, right? This is from Dom’s backyard. And I like to crush it like that right before I put it in. Is that beautiful or what? Okay, we’re going to do salt and pepper. Salt and pepper as always. Now, this is better when you let it sit and marinate. That’s what my mother used to do. She used to make this first, put it on the side, and she used to serve it room temperature. Well, you could serve this room temperature, you could serve it cold, however you want. And this is going to marinate overnight and it is going to be so delicious. So, we’re going to cover this and we’re going to have it tomorrow, but I’m going to let Mao taste a little bit. We’re right back cuz Mao’s got to taste it. Hurry up with one scoop. Okay. All right. We’ll be back. All right, my love. What the hell did you give me? You gave me one potato. I told you you’re just tasting. You already had dinner. But I don’t want to taste it. I love this. Let me tell you something. This is a great side dish. It’s delicious. I hope you enjoy it tomorrow. We will. Love you. Love you, too.
