
I tried putting the avocado inside today. This is the first time I've ever tried making a melt. The cheese didn't melt right and there's no pull at all. Plus the avocado made it all slippery so it's falling apart when I try to eat it.

Yeah, i hate how avocado can be slippery in a sandwich. The slipperiness perhaps could have been avoided if the avocado was more mashed rather than sliced?
Ive never known cheddar to be a melty cheese with a lot of pull. maybe if the cheese was at room temp before placing between the bread and grilling? Or try a different cheese.
I think Im going to try to make this.

If you really wanna go crazy you should make guac and spread it in there after you cook the grilled cheese.
