A lot of our favorite restaurants are known for certain dishes but what some other items on their menus that often go overlooked but are real sleeper hits that more people should know about. Here’s a couple of mine:
Chicken Soup at Benny’s Tacos (pictured) – Most everything is pretty mid here but they have one of the best simple chicken and vegetable soups in all of La La Land
Bun Cha Hanoi at Brodards – Everyone knows the rolls but they make a mean version of Hanoi’s most famous dish.
Cocido (Caldo de Res) at Gloria’s Cafe – While they’re known for a their seafood soup and make a mean chicken tortilla soup, their Cocido hits hard. Deep rich beef broth.
