The “Haiselscher”, the hospitable Palatinate wine village, creates an exuberant atmosphere with Federweisser, Palatinate specialities and an exciting live performance programme from RPR1. The colourful funfair in the Exterstreet with its sparkling stalls, Ferris wheel and chain carousel will make both children’s and adults’ eyes light up.
In a festive atmosphere, the royal wine queens will be crowned in Neustadt’s Saalbau. At the end of September, candidates will compete for the title of the 77th German Wine Queen and at the beginning of October for the title of the 85th Palatinate Wine Queen. At Germany’s largest wine festival parade, the crowned royalty introduce themselves to their subjects amongst groups of musicians and impressive floats.
