I’m going to say no, its not a sandwich. If we allow burgers, we also have to allow hotdogs.

A burger is definitely a sandwich. In what way is it not a sandwich. I get it if the sub didn’t want burger posts, but it’s a sandwich.

It’s a sandwich, why *wouldn’t* it be allowed?

  4. heebeejeebeest

I vote yes. It’s two pieces of bread with meat and toppings that would go on any other sandwich

All burgers are sandwiches but not all sandwiches are burgers

  6. I’m in it’s a sandwich camp. I thought it looked good, and it tasted good!

Hard No. A burger is a burger. A sandwich is a sandwich. I’ll never get these two confused.

Wow what a beauty that one is. You should be proud.

This is better suited for r/burgers but I’ll accept it.

Consult the cube rule of sandwiches when in doubt. It is in fact, a sandwich.

“Yes, a burger is generally considered a type of sandwich. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a sandwich as “two or more slices of bread or a split roll having a filling in between”. A burger, consisting of a patty (usually beef) between a bun, fits this definition. While some people may differentiate them based on specific ingredients or preparation methods, the core structure of a burger aligns with the definition of a sandwich.”
