ROSEBURG, Ore. — A Roseburg man was arrested for burglary after he was found cooking eggs inside a stranger’s home.

Officers from the Roseburg Police Department responded to a residence on the 600 block of NE Winchester after a man’s 17-year-old son reported hearing someone inside. The man confirmed that no one should have been in the home other than his son.

Upon arrival, officers discovered Ezekiel Shiloni Dolcide, 33, inside the home. Dolcide had entered through a window and was taken into custody without incident after officers initially pointed their tasers at him.

Once in custody, officers learned that Dolcide had been in the home for approximately three hours. During that time, he cooked and ate eggs and drank from two juice jugs. He was also found with some of the caller’s property in his pockets.

Dolcide has been charged with Burglary I and Theft II and was lodged at the corrections facility.
