Good times mate. Great little activity for both of you

Now that’s what I’m talking about! Good to see a simple onion and cheese smash. That way you can actually taste the beef, and not get distracted by a dozen condiments and a fried egg. Great job chef!

    Awesome!

Onions go on-top of the patty though – you won’t get that smash patty sear without it.

Not much better then cooking with your kids…

If you half look at the photo, it looks like Batman is watching them.

I’m a professional chef and I used to let mom sleep in while kiddo sat in his high chair and watched me make us all breakfast/prepping lunch for them and myself before I’d head off for 15 hour shifts running a few restaurants in Seattle an hour away from where we were living

Little dude is fascinated by food even if he won’t eat everything. Has a little knife and apron and shit

He turned 5 earlier this year so he’s a little too small to be working the grill with me but FUCK am I excited for that. The greatest thing my folks did for me was instill a love of cooking and food in me. If I can pass that on little dude is going to be juuuuust fine

Burgers look bomb and I’m happy for ya!! Keep it up

Those onions are thick AF. The thinner the better. A mandolin is a game changer, albeit terrifying to use.
