An invitation to maybe put on some of that sauce?

Probably just a mistake. Still looks delicious though!

It’s so the soft part of the bun soaks up the burger sauce to retain it.

Some restaurants think they can call it a melt if they flip the buns around and toast them.

So they could charge extra money for being “fancy” 🤷‍♂️

You’re just looking at it wrong.

Because it’s a fancy craft burger

My guess is keeping the toasted inside toasty. Then once it’s at the table you can flip it over.

  8. Burger doesn’t look that bad other than maybe the lettuce being a tad too big, but that’s just being picky. And well, depends on the temp that the burger was cooked.

And that bun makes this even more stupid. Because there was no need to do that. I’d be requesting a new bun, the right way. I’m not eating grease and cheese on the top of my bun where I hold it.

Probably because this is wanky and a way to charge another two pounds.

BUT, I also see the ketchup is on the side. As someone that prefers sauce on the side, so I can add it myself, this arrangement is actually pretty great. You can add the ketchup and flip the bun without having to pull the whole burger apart.
